1. KYC Process for Freelancers
Freelancers on the Vccpanda platform are required to complete KYC verification before they can begin offering services or accepting payments. This process helps us verify the identity of freelancers and reduce the risk of fraud. The following steps are part of the freelancer verification process:
- National ID Verification: Freelancers must provide a copy of their government-issued National ID card. This step is essential for confirming their identity and ensuring that they are legally permitted to provide freelance services.
- Proof of Address: Freelancers may be required to submit a proof of address document (e.g., utility bill, bank statement) to confirm their location.
- Email Verification: Freelancers must also verify their email address by clicking on a confirmation link sent to their registered email address.
- Profile Verification: A profile picture may also be requested to further ensure that the freelancer’s account is authentic and not fraudulent.
Freelancers will be notified once their KYC process has been successfully completed and their account is approved for full access to the platform.
2. KYC Process for Buyers
While buyers are not required to go through the same extensive KYC process as freelancers, we do require email verification to ensure that all buyers are legitimate users of the platform. The following steps are involved in the buyer verification process:
- Email Verification: Buyers must verify their email address by clicking on the confirmation link sent to their registered email address. This helps to ensure that all buyers have a valid and accessible means of communication with freelancers and the platform.
3. Purpose of KYC
The purpose of this KYC policy is to:
- Prevent Fraud: To protect both freelancers and buyers from fraudulent activities on the platform.
- Verify Identity: To ensure that only legitimate users are able to offer services or hire freelancers.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: To comply with financial and regulatory requirements related to online transactions and business operations.
4. Data Privacy and Security
All personal information provided during the KYC process will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality. Vccpanda employs robust data protection practices to ensure that user data, including National ID, proof of address, and email, is securely stored and protected from unauthorized access.

5. Failure to Complete KYC
Freelancers who fail to complete the KYC verification process may be restricted from posting services or accepting payments on the platform. Buyers who fail to verify their email may face limitations in communication with freelancers and placing orders until the verification is completed.
6. KYC Updates
In the event that the user’s KYC information changes (e.g., a new address or updated ID), freelancers and buyers must update their details in their account to maintain accurate records on the platform.
